Copying Best of Finehomebuilding dvd
I have recently purchased a copy of the Best of Fine Homebuilding .
My question, is it possible to make a copy for my own use as I was able to with my old copy of Best of Fine woodworking
Further if it is possible what type of disc do I use
Purpose of copy backup disc incase I damage original

Save it on your hard drive and put the disk in a safe deposit box.

Not if it has any kind of encryption. The DMCA (Digital Millenium Copyright Act) does not allow for the circumvention of the digital rights management software. Many folk regard your intended copying as "fair use" but you would not be in strict compliance with the law.
Nowadays, its trivially easy to get round the protection on DVD's. Think Mac the Ripper.
It's up to you and your conscience.
