Ed,
Sorry I can't help you with the plans, but I can help you do you searching. The spelling is "cupboard".
Best,
Seth

I hate the English language !!! (sometimes)
Mnemonic device, a cupboard is a cabinet made out of boards to keep your cups in! :-)forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
I found a great pattern at Rockler. It has glass doors at the top and panel doors at the bottom. It has all of the screws hidden. It shows you how to make mitered spline joints, crown molding and some other neat steps. The pattern is not in a book but a 8-10 page pamplet. BT
sounds good BT....is that under plans? I would like to find that
thanks
ED
They had a box with 75 to 100 different plans. They have plans to make all sorts of things.

Well put forest, I need a woman to explain those things..:o)
Ed, why not sit down and take a shot at designing one? the best part about designing stuff is if you make a mistake you can just say it's part of the design :) so far I've designed a lot of the furniture I've built. I actually find it harder to work from plans, as when I design furniture I know every little detail about it and that seems to cut down on any mistakes.
Ed,
One of the last Gottshall books "Masterpiece Furniture Making" has plans for an elaborate shell top corner cupboard. You may also wish to check the generic plan in Bil Hylton's "Illustrated Cabinetmaking"
I am currently building a corner cupboard using plans by Carlyle Lynch. To get a catalog Write PO Box 13007, Arlinton Tx 76094. Catalog cost is $2. This is an excellent plan and is providing me a lot of challenge and enjoyment.
Warren, Last night I checked out the Rockler plan...It had what I wanted , glass top door, raised panel bottom doors. anyway I ordered it last night, I look forward to making it.
NOw if I can decide what wood...hmmm
Thanks ALL for the replys!
