Just saw the movie “Secret of Roan Innish” and absolutely loved the boat cradle. Any idea where plans can be found for this?

Adapt a boat plan and techniques to do this. Plans for everything will not be found on the web, books or magazines but it's no reason you can't make something you saw. It's certainly a new level of skill to do thos but if you need plans you probably will never have the cradle unless you hire someone to make it for you. I saw the movie when it first came out but I'm a bit fuzzy on the exact details of the cradle but it shouldn't be that complicated.
Thank you for your response, Rick. I actually built a dinghy-shaped cradle recently, and it was a great fun challenge.
Here's a nice little boat cradle. Not like the one in the film, but nice anyways.

Thanks, Joe. That's a great site. Here's another...I built the Baby Tender II earlier this year and am looking to build the Baby Tender when the next baby is on the way.

If you don't find plans for a boat cradle you like you could download theHulls program (its free but make sure you also get the DLL) from GreggCarlson http://www.carlsondesign.com and either scale down one of the designs thatcome with it or draw your own.
