Many years ago there was a company in St Charles IL called Craft Products Co. They had a line of plans for clock cases and sold other parts of the clocks as well. I have received 11 plans for various mantle clocks but some of them call for decals for front glasses and such.
Does anyone know where Craft Products went? WHat happened to their inventory if they went under? I envision a storeroom somewhere of clock plans, window decals, clock faces, etc. It would be nice to know how to tap into this.
Thanks,

If you want to buy decals tap into http://www.slarose.com. Another source: http://www.merritts.com.
*Why thank you. I have slarose's catalog coming. I had a copy a couple of years ago and it is a fine resource. I think that if I cannot find any of the original Craft Products stuff, it is a good place to aquire material that I can modify my plans to meet. The other reference, I have not looked up yet. I'll let you know.tim
*I am in the process of building a clock myself and came across Klockit.com in the project plans. Have not used them myself, though they seem to have an extensive inventory.
*Yes, Klockit has some very pretty advertisements/catalogs. Now if you go to slarose's website, get the keep book and subscribe to their catalog, you will find a resource with dozens and dozens of movements, faces, decals, hands, finials, tools, books, etc. It will amaze you and I suspect you won't be spending much time in the Klockit catalog any more. What I am looking for is a specific set of parts that apparently are not made any more. Craft Products was a small company out of St Charles IL that made wonderful plans and sold parts for all sorts of clocks. I have built two steeple clocks, one of which needs a decal for the lower glass panel. I also picked up 11 different Craft Products mantle clock plans on e-bay and I wanted to see if the original parts are still available in some small warehouse someplace. A long shot. I will probable just get what I can from slarose and modify the plans to fit.tim
