I have a friend who wants to sell his Craftsman jointer. I am looking for anyone who knows how much it is worth. The specs are:
Model # 113.200.21
3/4 H.P
Purchased used in 1978.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,

The price may dictate how much of a value it is. How wide is the cutterhead? Two or three blade? Cast iron tables? Floor or bench model? Why is he selling it?
If it is a decent machine, and you can get it for a "steal", it may be worthwhile.
I believe that it is 8" wide and ~24" in length. There are 2 sets of blades and it is a floor model. The owner hinted that the price may be in the $150.00 area. I know that I can get a new on for ~450+.
Thanks for the information,

Are you sure that's the right model number? I went to the Sears website and they didn't recognize that number. Their message said there may be some additional, smaller sized numbers in front of that model number. If you have the model number, the Sears website should have owners manuals, etc which can give you some more info about the joiner.
The number's not right but I've got a 1975 6" Craftsman jointer I bought new for $280.00. I put a bigger motor on it (1 hp.) because the original would not cut 1/8" in hardwood. It is hard to keep in adjustment. If I were to sell it, I'd ask $150.00. If I got that much, I'd go to Confession, or whatever it is these new age Catholics call it these days.
edit-- mine is a 6"
