I’m in the market for, and have found, a used Craftman Radial Arm Saw. I’ve seen all kinds of prices, from eBay to local classifieds. But … I’m still wondering what a fiar price is for a 10-inch, appriximately 15-17-year old machine. It appears to be in pretty good shape, and I’m not sure how much use it’s gotten. This isn’t a model with any electronics, etc. so it’s a basic model, but that’s pretty much what I’m looking for.
eBay has starting-bid prices at anywhere from $25.00 to $350.00. Having used eBay to buy a number of things, I’m sure most of the cheaper prices are for items that have a much higher minimum bid, and most of them are way too far for me to travel for a used tool (unless it really IS cheap).
Any advice? I can probably get the saw for about $150.00, and I think that’s a pretty good/fair price. The owner can’t really use the saw much anymore (really bad ticker), and he told me today that he has two of them!

Where are you located ?? I have a Sears 10" digital readout radial arm & throwing in a thin kerf blade and an 8" stacked dado set that has never been used. I use my 6 volt battery charger to power the digital. So a 6 volt supply will be needed. Those 6 volt batteries are just too expensive. I'm asking $125. This Sears saw is being replaced by my new toy. I'm restoring a 1947 DeWalt 12' GP
are you neat pottstown pa
