Craftsman radial arm saw question
I just bought a used craftsman radial arm saw at a local estate auction the other day and the power switch seems strange to me the way it works. Does this look familiar to anyone out there? I can turn the saw on and off no problem. Just checking out if this looks correct or not. Sears says they have the key for the saw but the picture on there website is very poor and can not make out what the item looks like. They want 7.50 for the key and 7.00 to ship. Saw number is 113.29402. Thank you for your time and feedback.

The "key" shown is different than the one on the Craftsman RAS that I once had, but the concept is the same - a physical element requiring overt action to turn on the saw. You might be able to fashion a "key" to complete the inter-connect, or you could decide to pay Sears for theirs.
I have two of those saws, the keys look the same as the ones in your pics.

I grew up with a saw like that. You have my sincere condolences.
