My Dad purchased a Jointech miter sled, which really looked like a good tool. HOWEVER, attempting to use it on a (stock) Craftsman Tablesaw is practically impossible. The extensions or wings on either side of the table are concave, or indented, which causes the sled to rock while traveling across the saw.
Is there a source who sells replacement extensions, that are not indented, for the Craftsman Tablesaw?
Thanks for your input and advise!

a rail, tell your dad to add a thin strip to each side of the sled's two outer edges
just enough to balance out the rocking
They do not have to be the full length of the sled but should end before the strips hit the raised 'lip' of the wings.
Or, stick down the two strips to the table wings under the outer edges of the sled?Steinmetz

Those wings are adjustable. Look underneath them and you should see several bolts & nuts. Remove the wings and fence rails and re-install them. I use a 4' level to get the wings exactly aligned with the cast iron saw table.
Dave and Steinmetz:
First, Thanks for the prompt responses.
I've looked at adjusting the wings, but the Lip around the top is flush with the cast iron table. The issue is with the inset or lower part. If I try to adjust the lower part or "dip" in the wing to the table top, the edges would be above the cast iron surface.
I also thought about using double sided tape and a very thin sheet of plywood to fill in the inset, but didn't know how well that would work. And I thought about pulling them both extensions off, turning them over and hammering the inset back to flush. However, that seemed a little extreme.
I was hoping there might be some one who makes a wing/extension that would bolt right up and be flush all the way across the table top. I figured somebody else out there has gotten frustrated with the way those tops are made.
I've done several searches, but have not turned up any suppliers. And, I didn't know if another brand or manufacturer's saw might have the same dimensions as the Craftsman.
Thank You again for your suggestions!

Have you asked Jointech for any help? They must have run into this before. I use a homemade sled that runs on the 'lips' of the extension wings.
Another possibility would be to get the Craftsman extensions that are cast instead of the stamped sheetmetal. They're flat.
Two strips positioned on the wings under both of the sled's edges.
Strips's thickness should just come up to the level of the table and the lip/rim's height BUT NOT beyond or over the rim/lip of the wings
Since they are level with table top, the sled will ride smoothly on the table 's surface.

Sled should have a stopblock attached to the sled's aft end, so the sled doesen't continue further than nessesary to clear the stock.
I make my sled's fences thick enough to completely enclose the ten inch blade with the blade in the uppermost position
Safety is priority # One and 2 and 3 .....
