Crofter (Mission-style) Furniture — know anything about this?
I recently ran across a piece of furniture I am interested in building. It is manufactured and sold by a number of companies, but little can be found on this style, originator or history. I’m hoping some info can be gotten from this forum regarding this furniture.
To view these pieces, check out www.artsandcraftsindustries.com/crofter-occasional-tables-9270-71.html
Thanks for any feedback!

Crofter furniture
I think the Crofter line is this company's take on furniture made by the Roycrofters, a handi-craft community from East Aurora, NY, from the early 1900's. The community produced all sorts of hand-craft items, such as furniture, copperware, textiles, etc, etc, etc. Several Roycroft furniture pieces have Tapered and Angled sides, and have been the influence for several of my own designs.
Hope this helps
