I need to make a piece of crown molding for the outside of my house. I recently saw an article on making that on a table saw. I searched all my back issues of FW and cannot find edition #198. Is that article in that issue and how do I find it on-line. When I use key word search for crown molding it does not come up.

I just flipped through issue #198 and saw nothing on making crown molding. If you search the site for "crown molding," you'll find more than 100 entries. However, I don't think any covers making crown molding on a tablesaw. We did publish an article in issue #168 about cutting coves on the tablesaw. It's available to members online. Here's a link:

Could this be what you're after?

Dave;
Thanks for the message. No, the article you listed is not what I am looking for. I hate to mention it but I gues the article I saw was in a competing magazine. I will just have to keep looking. Meanwhile, my mentor and I were able to duplicate the molding we needed by cutting coves on the TS and finishing up with a handplane and sandpaper. Thanks again for your help.
