I have a client that wants to commission some beds/swings. They are called Cumberland Island swings, and they can double as day beds. I need a picture so I can get an idea of colors and details because the drawings she gave me are real basic figures. Attached is her drawing. I would love it if anyone knew where I could see a photo of one of these.

I have built several but I don't have any pics and the plans are at my dads right now. I built mine out of pine as it was going to be stained to match the deck. I will see if I can dig up a photo and scan it for you.
By the way I flipped your attachment so it would be easier to read. "Hugs and Kisses" must be some client.

Here are a couple of quickie photos of my version of the Cumberland Island swing. The originals (we've stayed there) are fairly basic. In fact, they look like simple oak daybeds (they didn't even shorten the legs) suspended on chains and aren't all that comfortable to sit upon -- too deep front-to-back. They are great to lie on.
My version is lighter and somewhat smaller, although you can still lie down on it (about seven feet long). I used white ash for all but the corner posts which are made from left-over walnut. I bought the foam cushion from an automotive supply house; my daughter-in-law made the cover from "Sunbrella". We've had four adults sit on it together with no problems (and no hanky-panky).
Your drawing looks very faithful to the originals. Good luck, Sweetie Pie, and let me know if you'd like more info.
