Greetings, I just received the annual issue Antiques and Fine Art and its packed with great stuff. I have been getting this magazine for the last couple of years. Each issue is packed with photos of beautiful furniture. I’ts of great wealth to me. This current issue has a full page photo of a comb-back windsor chair with 3 close-ups of the ear and arm knuckles. A Federal chest I plan on building, plus in the Hands-On section an article on the clock case seminar now going on at Williamsburg. Have any of you read and receive this magazine? If any of you like Period furniture this magazine is great for information.

I have several years of old Antiques magazine from the 1950's, I like to thumb through these for ideas on furniture to make. Is the Antiques and Fine Art only an annual issue ? I am not sure if I have seen this, I have the January 2001 issue of The Magazine Antiques, which is devoted to the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and their furniture.

RHOLLAND54, The magazine is called The catalog of Antiques and Fine Art. It comes out four times a year, spring, summer, fall, winter. The annual special comes out now, during the winter. The other magazine you mentioned I'm not sure about. These magazines feature full color pictures of Quality antique dealers. I know you can probably find them at a good well stocked news center. Their web site is; AntiquesandFineArt.com Each issue is thick and packed. Once you start reading them you can't put them down, just like Fine Woodworking. This current issue features on the front cover a picture and article on the American Wing section of The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Their putting together a new face lift and expanding the exhibits. This magazine has a lot to offer. Go check it out and get back to me, you won't be disappointed.
