Hi Folks,
I’m new here so I’m not sure if this question has been asked before (I did search and couldn’t find any similar questions).
I have been trying to find some current woodworking videos and have yet to come across anything newer than ’92-’94. I have found almost all of the Taunton Press videos at my local library plus a few others not found on Taunton’s website.
My question(s) are:
1) Is it just a tragic coincidence that my recent findings of woodworking “how to” instructors are deceased? Namely Jim Kingshot, Jim Cummins and Roger Cliffe. I realize there are others who produce videos but unfortunately each week that I found a video by one of the above I would try to do some research on them and come to find that they have passed away. I hope Kelly Mehler, Gary Rogowski and Frank Klausz are all doing well!!
2) Why are all the videos that I found thus far at least 10 years old? Doesn’t anyone make current or possibly updated instructionals? I am very grateful to find anything demonstrating WW techniques but I also find it amusing to hear almost all of them comment on how convenient “this new cordless screwdriver” is in their assembly segments!

Marc Adams has the most recent videos that I am aware of. You might want to check them out. He teaches at the Marc Adams School of Woodworking. http://www.marcadams.com
Good luck
Thanx bmit...
This will be a great start to my search!
