Several years ago, I found a set of carbide sleeves that mount on a expandable rubber drum which has a 1/4″ shaft. I use these to shape wood by mounting them in my die grinder. I haven’t been able to find any replacements. Has anyone seen something like this for sale. The set included 4 sleeves each with there own drum, sizes were 3/4″, 1 1/2″, 2″, and 3″ diameters. I don’t have to have exactly these same diameters. Bill Lindau

Bill, I can't think of anything like your description, but have you tried the three wing cutters by Creative Technologies inc.? They really cut fast, and clean without much tendency to snag. Here is a link.

You are definitely referring to the Kutzall type. They don't make all the ones they used to. They will still do some custom sleeves. I was just talking to them recently about such a project. By the way you don't dare run a 3" tool in a die grinder which spins at 20,000 rpm besides it will burn at that speed. An angle grinder with the Kutzall disks is a grat tool.
