I would like to find a jig that can be made to cut a hexagonal shape on a table saw. About 8 inches across flats. I know how to draw the hex shape and I can cut the lines on a table saw but I have yet to figure out how to make a jig to do repeat cuts.

Hi,
I don't have a jig like this but I think I have a method.
The hexagon is inscribed in a circle with radius R. Curiously, the length of each side of the hexagon is also R, in your case 8". So what I would do is cut two of the stock's sides to the diameter of the circle first, 2R. Then place one of these flats against your miter gauge set for a 60 degree cut. A stop set in place along the fence should put you in the right spot to make all of your cuts. [It may take two sets of stops however: one for the first cut and then another for all the subsequent cuts.]Good luck. Gary
