What is the best glue to use for making laminated strip cutting boards?
A long time ago I made some using an ultra sonic wood welder, they have never split or cracked in 20 years. I cant remember the name of the glue, and I no longer have access to a wood welding machine. If I can find the glue would it work the same just normal drying or is there another type of glue that would be better suited?
Thanks in advance.

25 years ago I made cutting boards for all 3 of my children and one for us and I used regular Titebond glue and last I looked they are all fine and I know ours is used every day. I do not put them in water but use dish cloths to clean them. However I just made one for a neighbor and I used Titebond II. Once a year or so I put mineral oil on it. I do not know if my children are that diligent. Ours is quite worn and hollowed out in the center where most of the chopping is done. Ours is made from hard maple and walnut with the end grain looking at you.
I've used titebond, only to see it slowly fail after several years use. Now I use gorilla glue, which seems to hold up just fine.

I had some left over 3/4" oak flooring. I used Titebond glue and 15 years later it is still OK. Orange juice spilled on the original spoiled it. Nothing seems to affect oak flooring.
I make cutting boards and use either Titebond II or III
I have both and use whichever is handiest.
Titebond II is rated Water Resistant, while Titebond III is rated water proof.
For the short periods of time it will be in water for cleaning Titebond I should work, but I would still use Titebond II.
