I want to try to make a pattern as shown on the attached photo. I will need to make about 50 individual diamonds from three species. Any recommendations as to the most efficient, and safest, method to cut these pieces? Each piece is about 1.25 inches per side and have angles of 60 & 120 degrees.

I think you're talking about cutting thick pieces? That's likely veneer, which is a different answer.

The key is to cut strips to width then use a stop block on mitre saw or table saw/sled to cut the angles, ensuring each piece is identical. Precision is what counts here.
If you want to do a veneered version then cutting a stack of veneers together is more efficient.
Here is another method of doing this pattern. This is an end grain cutting board, obviously not veneers.
