Cutting kerf’s into 3/4 material to Bend. Does anyone have a formula for this?
Hello to all,
I’ve been ask to build a classy Dart Board set up with a width of about 30″ and a rise of about 2 3/4″ at the top. My buddy wants the 4″ deep box to also follow the rise and run of the doors in front of it. I could make this from very thick solid stock but the waste would great.
Is there a formula to calculate the depth/spacing and angle of the blade to the rise/run to a thickness of 3/4″ plywood or solid stock?
With a 4″ depth box behind the upper curve of two doors, is using kerfs the proper way to achieve this this curvature?
Any experienced help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thank you for your time,
Vance
