to cut melamine panels(and i do it every day), get the best freud melamine blade for your circ saw
set up an edge guide for your saw to keep the saw perfectly straight, lee valley has a really cool one http://www.leevalley.com
make sure that the sole of the saw is parallel to the blade
first make a scoring cut with your saw, just barely through the melamine and then recut all the way through
with the right setup and some fine tuning, perfect cuts on melamine and veneer panels are posible ie perfect on both sides of the material
caulking is not a piece of trim
first make a scoring cut with your saw, just barely through the melamine and then recut all the way through..
Ya got it! Or get a $20,000 Europen slider saw with a Scoring blade out front!
firk ,
I think you are asking what type of saw blade is best not what type of saw , right ? On the table saw I use a 10" FS brand 80 tooth with a negative rake , when sharp you have a hard time telling the top from the bottom . FS are made in Canada .
good luck dusty
Or you could buzz the edge using a T/C blade.
