Either my brain isn’t working or I really have a challenging problem. Either way, I need some help.
I’m making a pulpit. The top has three curved sides and a straight side. The side where the presenter stands is the straight side. The top is about 1″ thick made from MDF with African Mahogany veneer on both faces. I would like to add a solid edge (1.5″ wide) that I intend to profile.
My dilemma: I can cut the mating curve for the solid edging but am having trouble with how to cut the Miters accurately given the curves. Any suggestions?

Are you having trouble determining the angle to cut or are you wondering how to set up the saw and wood to actually make the miter? I think it is the latter but I want to be sure before I answer the wrong question.
