Cutting the ends off my walnut table
Hello everyone! I’m looking for some advice. Im getting ready to trim the ends of my dining room table I made, 4 prices of walnut on each side with a piece of center cut red oak in the middle. Its about 5/8 thick. What is a good saw blade to use in my skill saw? New to wood working 😁

I built a 9 foot long 8/4 walnut dining table. I needed to cut ends to install breadboard ends so I needed a "perfect" cut. For that reason, I invested in the purchase of a Festool TS-55 track saw. The cut from this saw was buttery smooth and was well worth purchasing the saw as the table value is very high. It is the best saw I have ever used and highly recommended.
It seems you already have a circ saw...
If your installing breadboard ends I would recommend a circ saw blade with a high tooth count, somewhere in the 40 tooth range, since your cut will be butted against another board and sanding could affect squareness.
If your just trimming them to equal length and squaring the table up, then any quality blade would do since your undoubtedly going to sand the resulting surface. Think Diablo or Dewalt, should be around $10.
