I have the JDS 3 HP and I am not fully satisfied with it.
On the plus side it fit in my basement due to its small height. It seems to perform well and provide a very good separation of fine dust. The filter can be cleaned by turning a wheel. Customer support at JDS was very good.
On the negative side when I first got the unit one of the leg was not welded correctly and needed to be changed. The documentation is very poor and missing a lot of informations. My main complaint is that the collection drum design with clear plastic bag is a real hassle to use. The plastic bags can be damage easily by the clamping system and changing them is a nightmare if you don't want to spill the content everywhere.
