Hi All, I bought a great dado set from Ridge Carbide 2 years ago, decided it was time for sharping, shipped off & came back terriable,called to report same,reshipped recieved call said thin spacers I used caused the problem,so they shipped it back,It still tears out with or without spacers,anyone got a Good company to sharpen blades? Thanks Rick

Forrest's sharpening service is as good as their blades. They have all the info on the website forrestblades.com.
It isn't clear who did the sharpening and why the spacers would cause problems.

John ,I used the same company that makes the blades .. Ridge Carbide Tool Co. & the Shims (blue spacers) one had a little wrinkle from being caught in the arbor threads,I tried the blades with & without shims & the tearout is bad.
