A cabinet face frame I’m building was damaged, removing a portion of an edge. The frame has not been finished yet. Any suggestions on how to reapir this with minimal noticibility is appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds like the damage is on an edge, along the grain. Find a piece with similar grain. saw off a wedge shaped piece, match it with the scrap and glue it up.If the damage requires sawing across the grain, then I would make another piece.

If you can get it on the tablesaw, rip off a piece that includes the damage and glue in a replacement. If you can't get it on the saw, use the router with a rabbet bit to take out the damage along the entire length of that piece, and glue in a fill.
