I bought some unfinished knotty alder doors. They are veneered mdf rails and stiles with solid edge glued raised panels.
I finished them with Watco danish oil. I had cardboard under the edges of the doors on the saw horses. The cardboard got soaked with the danish oil and I didn’t think to remove it, so the doors dried on the oil soaked cardboard and now I have an uneven finish. Any advice on if and how I can remedy this?
Thank you.
p.s. any advice on how to reduce the file size of the photo it won’t let me upload?

More watco should let you even it out. Drive some screws into the top and bottom of the door to suspend it between the horses. Flip it at least once a day so it does not take a bend. Stand it up or hang it as soon as it is dry enough to handle.
Great advice. Thanks.
Windows Photos application (included with windows so you should have it) - click on the three dots in the top right corner. Select 'resize' - you can also use the crop tool to cut out bits you don't need to show.
You can download GIMP for free for windows and linux - it is a very richly featured free image editor, not quite, but almost the equal of photoshop.
If you're on a Mac you are on your own!
To reduce file size, email yourself the pic on the smartphone and choose the reduced size option.
I simply right click ‘edit’ ans resize, usually to 20%.
