Daughters,s wooden toy homwork project
I have 10 year old daughter Georgia. She has been told to make a moving toy using cams as a homework project. The toy has to include a wooden frame ,axle, cam and an object that moves in a least one direction
Can anyone please help with ideas or project plan
Kind regards

My first thought is to mount a small 'egg shaped' cam centered on the rear axle. Drill a hole through the body, centered on the cam. Let the car driver sit on the cam. As the car rolls, the driver will 'jump' up and down. or... put the cam on the front axel and have the hood ornament (if you're old enough to remember them) bounce up and down. That's the simplest solution. There are others, but it would take me a while to plan and sketch them out. Hope this helps.

Nowadays hood ornament is what they call you after you tried to use the crosswalk.

a moving toy using cams ... My first thought was a cam to make a car that lifts the front wheels like one of them 'Low Riders' that hop up and down...
A cam can be used for MANY things.. Just think.... Something moves up/down.. right/left... whatever...
