I’m looking for a portable (benchtop) tablesaw and I’ve looked at.
#1.The Ridgid TS2400LS at Home Depot.
#2.The DeWaltDW744S at Lowes.
A lot of the reviews seem to like the Bosch 4000. I haven’t seen this saw yet.
The Makita and Delta don’t seem to get the best reviews.
All suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Happy New Year to all !!!

Definitely look at the Bosch and don't overlook the Porter Cable 3812S (which I ended up choosing after looking at all these saws).
Thanks JC for the reply
I've owned and pushed a lot of wood through the bosch tablesaw, and it performed very nicely - however, when i moved from the yukon i sold it rather than transported it, and i now own the ridgid. I'm not sure that the motor on the ridgid is as powerful and smooth as the bosch because i haven't used it much yet, but i do think that the fence, mitre gauge, mitre slots, blade guard, rolling stand, and adjustment controls are far better on the ridgid. Actually, i just remembered reading that bosch has upgraded their folding stand to a rolling version, but i haven't seen it yet. The ridgid's stand is awesome - it's basically a dolly that can stand upright with the saw bolted to it, and has big rubber wheels that i've had no problem navigating up and down stairs, over curbs, and on gravel surfaces. The ridgid also has 'T' tracks for mitre slots, which is really nice for jigs, and T slots on the fence as well, for subfences or jigs. The mitre gauge has slots for bolting on a subfence as well, where as the bosch fence and mitre gauge have to be drilled into to for that. Oh yeah, and the bosch dust shroud was designed in a really frustrating way, in that it made blade changes extremely awkward - that was probably the worst thing i could say about its design, and i've heard others complain about the same thing. I've used the dewalt as well, and i wasn't crazy about it; though it wasn't a 'bad' saw. The rack and pinion worked well, but the saw's extension table seemed a little flimsy in comparison, and i don' think the mitre gauge was that great. And it's stand wasn't too im[ressive either. I think the bosch and ridgid are the best options, and if the ridgid motor performs as well as the bosch, then it would be my choice, hands down. It aslo has a blade guard/splitter that is FAR easier to attach and detach than any other benchtop model i've seen. The only category i can't say the ridgid is superior in, and its a major one, is how well its motor will perform compared to the bosch. Anyone have any comments on that front?
Hope you find my comments helpful...
Thanks Jesse,
I'm really leaning towards the Ridgid now myself. The Bosch with the new "Gravity Stand" is almost $600.00. I can get a new Ridgid at Home Depot for $499.00.
