delta 34-444 tablesaw original equipment fence – out of alignment
I have had the above tablesaw with the original fence for about 20 years. I bought it new. I moved which meant disassembling and reassembling the unit. When I attempted to re-align the fence, I loosen the 4 bolts that held the fence together. Don’t ask why.
When I re-tightened the 4 bolts the fence no longer moves easily and when set to cut it does not align parallel to the blade or miter slots.
How do I align the fence so that it is parallel to either a miter slot of blade?

Vintage Machine has the manual
vintagemachinery.org has the owner's manual for your saw. Just go to their site and look for it. The instructons for adjusting the fence are on page 12-13.

Thanks that was very helpful.
There are 2 bolts at the far end of the rip fence that the manual does not reference. I think they have something to do with the clamping pressure but the screw at the near of of the fence does that. Any thoughts on what they adjust?
