Hi all,
Maybe I just missed it in here (KNOTS) but I just recieved my March ’05 Woodcraft catalog. On the back page there is a Delta verison of my Craftsman 22124. Called Delta’s “new hybrid” Model 36-717. Only thing different it comes with a leg set. Otherwise it’s the same saw, same price. Feature that….Maybe Sears was on to something before everyone else for a change.
Hey Putzer what ya think?…..

as always I wish you enough

Both are made by Orion International and are nearly identical. The biggest difference is that the Sears has the cabinet mounted trunnions, the Delta has the typical hybrid trunnions which are basically beefed up contractor saw trunnions hanging from the table top. Current pricing is introductory and will go up closer to $1000. Considering the cab mounted trunnions of the 22124, the loaded features, and the frequent sale prices, I think it's a better buy.
