Afer much thought, I have decided to get one of these units. It comes with a 5″ inlet or 2 4″ inlets. According to Bills Pentz, 6″ is the optimal. My plan it to attach a 10′ flex hose to the DC and move it from machine to the other. Considering it has a 5″ inlet, is there any advantage to going with 6″ piping, or should I stay with 5″?
thanks,
Mike

I would think staying with 5" is plenty.
I have this DC and run it through the dual 4" Y that comes with it, both with a 10' flex hose in place. I ran wood through my jointer and planer at the same time with this configuration while reviewing the 50-760 and it didn't bat an eye.
