you guys are too advanced for me but here is stupid question. Recently bought Delta BOSS sander and it clicks when changing direction. Is this normal? Tried to ask Delta on their site with absolutly no response (purchased at Amazon and no help there either). If not normal, what do I do to correct? Manual does not address this as far as I can see. Thanks

There are a couple of guide rods that keep the spindle perpendicular, there are adjusting screws on the sliding parts. I suspect the click is from the guides being a little loose. Be careful if you tighten them, if you get them too tight you can tear the teeth off the plastic gear in the drive. It should not click but neither should it bind.
