Delta Contractor Tablesaw 36-475 Blade position
I had been using my Delta Contractor 36-475 tablesaw’s original equipment wide-mouth insert so that I could tilt the blade for bevel rip cuts. When I noticed that the blade was pushing against the right edge of the wide-mouth opening, I set the blade tilt at 90 degrees and saw that it was almost touching the right edge of the wide-mouth insert opening. I put in a zero-clearance insert but the insert would not fit because the insert’s slot for the blade was to the left of the actual blade.

Check trunnion mounts
I'd check the bolts that mount the trunnion to the table to see if they are loose or may have shifted.
You should check the trunnions but probably not the problem
It is possible the table has shifted, there should be 4 bolts, one under each corner, these are necessary to adjust the table parallel to the blade. Realign the table and then torque the bolts down.
Don't buy a zero clearance insert.Make your own out of plywood. I am not sure about the contractor model but on a unisaw it is a half inch from the 4 ledges that support the insert to the top of the table. Half inch plywood works well as it is always a bit thin, four flat head screws into the bottom of the insert will allow leveling. You can also mill to exact thickness out of solid wood. Put the insert in place, hold down one edge with the fence the other with a scrap and raise the blade through it while running, Note: on a typical 10" saw the blade will not lower enough to clear the bottom of the insert , I normally lower the blade as far as it will go, put the insert in place and raise the back edge till it clears the blabe (hold down the front), turn the saw on and carefully lower the back edge with the blade cutting up through it until it is fully seated, then continue raising the blade using the adjustment handle until the blade is all the way through. If this makes you nervous, you can start the cut with an 8" blade, which will allow the insert to fully seat, then change to the 10" and finish up.
Good Luck
