I recently purchased a delta jointer model 37-190 through the classified ads in the local paper for $280.00. It is 3 yrs old and had never been used(women was recently divorced)! I thought it was a good deal what do you all think and what are your opinions on this model.
P.S. I am just getting back into woodworking after a long hiatus from high school woodshop class.

If the bed is not warped and the motor is still in good condition, I don't see how you could have gone wrong for $280. Have fun with your experienced jointer. ha..ha..

I too, just bought a jointer Delta 37-070, smaller than yours I think, out of the paper. Paid $60. My opinion is if it functions accurately and you paid less than what a new one costs, than you got a good deal!
