hi John I have a Delta 6″ jointer DJ-15, 37-150 ( its about 10 years old).and the infeed table droops about 1/16″. There is nothing in the owners manual on how to correct. As far as I can determine there are no gib screws. There are 2 metal flat bar pieces under each table with a hole in the center and a bolt thru the hole. Would shim material placed under the top of the bar raise the table? Or is this planer ready to be sold and time to buy a new machine with tables that can be adjusted?

The tables on your machine are adjusted with eccentric bushings, I have a service bulletin from Delta that explains the moderately complex procedure for getting the tables properly lined up.
I have to credit another poster, Bob Van Dyke, for sending me a earlier copy of the bulletin that allowed me to track down a slightly updated version of the instructions.
The directions aren't very well written, and the photos are barely readable, but with a good straightedge and a set of feeler gauges you should be able to get the machine properly aligned.
Send me your address and I'll mail you the bulletin.

I found a pdf file that might be useful, titled, "Jointer Table Adjustment Procedure for jointers with parallelogram table action" at this URL:http://www.deltamachinery.com/index.asp?e=144&p=4462I have included a picture of the eccentric bushing on my (smaller) Delta jointer. I couldn't find a tool to turn the bushing and finally made an (inadequate) tool myself.--WhitIf you have money buy tools. If you have money left over, buy food and clothing.
Thank you for that connection to the online version of the bulletin the Delta techs sent to me, they apparently didn't know it was available online.
Thanks again,
John W.

Thanks John- appreciate the help- I will let you know how successful it turns out.
Ed,
If you go up to the third message in this discussion, from "fsn" you will find a web address for the sheets that Delta sent me, their techs apparently didn't know the instructions were posted online. The online version has clearer photos than the sheets they faxed to me.

The link provided by @fsn is no longer working. I found what looks to be the same doc here: http://www.curtronics.com/PdFs/DeltaParrallelogramJointerAdjustment.pdf
