DELTA JOINTER WILL NOT TURN OFF
I was using my Delta Professional Jointer and when I went to turn it off, it would not turn off! I pulled the plug on the machine and considered the situation.
I disassembled the simple switch and found no obvious answer. You would think it would be mechanical problem where the switch does not cause a break in continuity when the switch is turn off.
An additional problem: when I disassembled the switch I thought I had tagged all of the wires that connect to the four terminals in the switch-box. I tagged the two white wires but not the two black wires. I have two terminals for the black wires, but I am concerned that with this 50/50 choice that I make the wrong choice and do some electrical damage to my jointer.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Uh-oh!
The zombies are now attacking shop machines?! We're in really big trouble! ;-)
I'd try going to the Delta site, and click on Service & Support. That will take you to the Servicenet site, where you can try to find your jointer manual and a wirig diagram.
