I am in the market for a cabinet saw. I’ve worked on all the classic but came across a Delta RT 30 made in 85′. Does anyone have any feedback on this saw? It looks like a good machine – all original, single phase 5hp motor and can take up to a 16” blade. It has a massive table which would suit my needs well. As couldn’t find anything about it on ine. I only found info about the RT 40 – this model had a 3 phase 7.5 horsepower motor. Would like any info good or bad as I was going to purchase something different but this has caught my eye.

Sounds like an Invicta made saw. For a period Delta was having their large machines made in Brazil. They produced good stuff and are currently sold in the states under their own name. http://www.invicta-usa.com
