Any one have problems with a delta unisaw’s miter track not able to align parallel with the blade? Mine I got last fall and have not been able to align the blade and miter slot? contacted delta and they stated that the table should have enough adjustment when cabinet bolts are loosened. That doesn’t adjust enough. I was thinking that the cabinet holes may need to be elongated to parallel.
Thanks,
Aaron

I had this problem on my Grizzly, but I did just as you suspected and elongated the holes. It is now parallel.
Best advice is to take it back or get the factory rep to align it for you. If you elongate the holes yourself, I'm pretty sure you'll void the warranty. This is a safety problem as well. Misaligned blades can cause dangerous kickback.

i'd let them come to you , you just dump2 grand on a saw. cheers bear
You would think that 2 K might get a saw without this problem. I must say that I am sold on the saw, however. The unifence is quite verstile for my work.

I have just finished a rebuild on my 20 year old unisaw. I replaced the spindle and added new bearings. I also replaced the belts. This said, it was difficult to realign the table slot 90 degrees to the spindle flange. Using a tapered reamer,I opened up the bolt holes in the metal cabinet. Now the realignment is an easy thing to do.With a good blade, this saw is now a smooth and accurate machine. ¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬PAT¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬
I'm sure that mine will last for years also, but it does seem like a real problem to have to eleongat holes on a brand new machine.
