Delta woodworking equipment restoration
Hello all. I recently took position of the contents of my dads woodworking shop which has been in storage for 10 years. Dad was a cabinet maker. All of his Delta machinery is high end cast iron construction. Unfortunately they were not stored well. Rust has invaded many of the tools. Included in the inventory is a Delta drill press, table saw, band saw, scroll saw, thickness planer and jointer. I’m having no luck finding a company to restore/refurbish this fine equipment. The biggest issue is the amount of rust that has accumulated and invaded the equipment. Can anyone recommend a company or individual in the New England area that tackles this type of work?
Thanks In advance to anyone who can weigh in on this

I've never heard of a company that restores small shop woodworking machinery in the way you describe (including in New England, where I live). That said, there is a vibrant community of hobbyists devoted to restoring older US-made Delta machines and other North American old iron. In addition to here, I suggest you check out the Old Woodworking Machines forum (google that phrase), which is an incredible repository of knowledge, including how to deal with rust.
If you don't or can't do the necessary restoration work yourself you might consider placing a add in the newspaper and hiring someone on a hourly bases. Unfortunately this method may not be cost effective.
