   Meezo, I think Tim already demonstrated that in his recent post. After importing the image you have to trace over the image to create the geometry in sketchUp. In some cases you can use PhotoMatch but you still have to draw the goemetry you need. SketchUp won't take a photograph and automatically convert it into a 3D objuect in the model.

   Thank you both for your response as I really appreciate it. I tried the photo match. However, when I brought the photo I was faced with the following issues:

   I could not align the photo with the drawing axes.

   There are four prospective bars; two green and two red. I am not sure on how to use them or what they are four?

   I traced the chair within the picture with a line as well as the arc tool. It was challenging and some I connect them together about 20%. Not sure why. Should i use the free hand tool in this situation.

   Is there any short video about photo match in how to use the lines and align the pictures.

   Dave,

   Thank you for your feedback.

   Your feedback was very helpful as well as the links. I think that you learn more when you see a live tutorial.

   I have finished two drawing for the chair. Can you please review them and let me know if i am missing something or just critique it to let me know if I could have done differently.

   Can you please let me know if you don't mind reviewing the file as I will have to start a new post in order to attach the files.
