First off I didnt know what the Hell a Dewalt 708 was LOL but when I looked it up and seen it was a 12 inch sliding compound miter box I knew I could help..
You could get a Dewalt 12 inch ultimate crosscut blade 96 teeth carbide about $75.00 or a Forrest ChopMaster 12 inch 80 teeth carbide about $129.00
Freud has special blades just for the sliding miter saws they have a special 5 degree negative hook angle on them to keep the blade from climbing thru the wood.. you mighjt want to check with your local dealers..
