I have more snipe from my 735 than I think I should.
1/32 to 1/16 is typical. I would like to reduce that to 1/64-1/32 range,
and I am willing to experiment with the fine tuning if necessary.
Has anyone adjusted/ tuned this model?
I also plan to build some outfeed supports.

If the boards are long at all, outboard supports are mandatory with any planer.
On the 735, if you have the factory outfeed tables, adjust them up at the end about 1/16". Most important is supporting long boards so they can't leverage up into the knives as it enters and exits the planer. This is critical with virtually any planer out there.
I have a story at the link below about dealing with snipe. Coincidentally, this story was done with a DeWalt 735 because we had it in the shop at the time.

Thanks for the helpful link. It's good to know that the problem is probably not in the planer, but simple the method of support.
