Some crooks used a cordless dremel to cut the lock on job 30' conex box. OUCH!
They got to the torch and cut open better than 20 job boxes.
They had a busy weekend.

I hope the tools were insured and the bandit got busted. That said though, I really shouldn't have brought up the criminal's potential use of a cordless grinder. Having had my shop broken into earlier this year, with nothing insured, I guess the thought of a cordless grinder brought back bitter memories.
It sound's like one of the most practical implemetations of cordless technology since the drill. I'm sure I'll get my chance to try it out one day, and I'll probably end up owning one. I like dewalt for the most part (though their cordless recipro saw sucks) and my guess is the grinder is definately worth having. If anyone has used it I'd like to hear some input as well.~ WebTrooper ~

I truly like my dewalt cordless recip saw what don't you like about it
ANDYSZ2I MAY DISAGREE WITH WHAT YOUR SAYING BUT I WILL DEFEND TO THE DEATH YOUR RIGHT TO SAY IT.
Do you have the one with the lever type blade chuck? I had it and the first time a little dust got in it, it would no longer close tight enough on thin metal cutting blades. That is, I would have to find any sort of poker to reach inside it and force the catch the rest of the way tight.~ WebTrooper ~

Sorry I took so long to get back. Mine uses the allen wrench and it is 4-5 years old and is doing just fine I use it almost daily. It still amazes me some of the situations that require the cordless tools over the corded ones and I highly reccommend the Milwaukee AXE and TORCH blades they are so much stouter than the rest .

My only gripe about the DeWalt was that lever opreated blade release. But, I think my next cordless recipro saw will be porter cable. I like the more compact design. If it weren't for that lever though, I would still have my dewalt.~ WebTrooper ~
