Hi All,
I am thinking of getting a new router, Dewalt DW621K. I was wondering if any one has ones of these and what their experiences, impressions of it are. From what I’ve seen and read it looks like a good piece of equipment. Look forward to hearing your comments.

One of my 4 routers is a DW621. Got it to use as a hand-held plunge router. In that respect I love the feel and the plunge mechanism is the smoothest on the market. The controls are easy to get to. It does have a smaller base (Elu) and I find it very controllable.
Would not recommend for a table mount. To dificult to adjust the height. Get a bigger HP for that with a more user friendly height adjuster for underneath a table. Don't get me wrong about the height being difficult to adjust. Outside the table it is one of the easiest and adjustable out there. Just not under a table.
Dust control is a big plus. Of course all this is my opinion and someone will dispute it. ha..ha..
Good Luck with your decision...

621 is worth a look and a test.
Martin,
I just went through the mid HP router purchase decision and ended up buying the Bosch 1613AEVS over the Dewalt 621. In the end I just found the twisting lock for the plunge ackward(SP?). The round handles also weren't comfortable for me. The switch lock was also hard to operate.
I really like the feel of the Bosch. It has the standard lever lock which is easy to reach. The switch lock is right under your right thumb. I also like the dust boots on the plunge shafts. It comes with a great dust collection hookup, although this was one feature I think the DW621 did well also.
There is a good article in the June 2001 FWW. Good luck
