I have used my DW735 for a couple of years with no issues. Recently my reset button would not reset so I replaced it. Used it for a few days and now it won’t turn on which is what it did when I replaced the reset button. I have again replaced that reset button and it still won’t work. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The reset button connects to a thermal fuse that trips more easily over time. Try replacing the thermal fuse. I got so frustrated with mine after switching to a helical head that I bypassed the fuse altogether.
I’m sure you’ve already got this figured out as it’s been a few years but for any body having the same issue and looking for the solution it is actually going to be your motor brushes. Don’t believe me ? the next time the planer won’t start, give the brushes a little tap and it will fire right up
I got so frustrated resetting mine, I completely eliminated it a few years ago and haven't had a problem since
