I currently have a DeWalt 12″ miter saw and I’m in need of a portable workstation to go with it. I have my heart set on the matching DeWalt workstation that goes for $199 at Home Cheapo, but I’m curious if there’s a cheaper store to go to in the Chicagoland area. Any ideas? I’ve got about a week or two before I need it, so mail-order is an option.
Thanks,
Joe

Cheaper, probably not. Better service, selection & a store that will service what it sells? Yep. Ever been to Berland's House Of Tools? If not, check them out, even if you don't buy anything- it's an experience.
Here's a link to their website...

I also have the DeWalt 12". I bought the RIGID workstation after looking at both. I can tell you I'm very glad I did. It's much more sturdy and I believe it was less $$$.
Good Luck....
I do not have one.. BUTTZ do not think you can build one cheaper unless you steal the 2X12 rafters fron a job ya were workin' at..!
