I'm actually replying to myself. Does anyone have a good plan for a dictionary stand? Anyone? I realize that it isn't too complicated, and I could just make a stand. Just curious if anybody had an interesting design. Thanks again.

I'm in the middle of designing a standing desk with an adjustable top suitable as a dictionary stand or small drafting table as a project for a furniture design class; it's not going to be completed until almost the end of the semester, and I'll be building it the following semester. I'll be happy to shoot pictures for you if you can wait that long.
As your search progresses, I'd be interested in learning about the design considerations you find noteworthy, so please keep us posted.
