I wood like to build a nice dinning room table. One that can open up to seat eight but be able to be seat four as it normally sits. Any good books out there? I’m really looking for a concept. Thanks.

The Taunton book by Kim Carleton Graves I think is just called "Dining Tables" shows a number of different styles of tables. Interesting read, and he doesn't "dumb down" the woodworking.
I have Kim's book, it is a great place to start, he is also very good about helping you w/ questions via e mail. Go to his web site, I do not have it handy, sorry, Also get a Matthew Burke table leg cataloge, EXCELLENT product and they are a great value wjhen you look at what is involved in you setting up to make 4 legs> Hope this helps, Dave
Thanks Don, I should have a copy in a few days.
