Larry, I would guess acetone, it dissolves contact cement. Maybe that is rubber cement, I don't know.

*Larry,FWIW, I use a product called "Goof Off". Works especially well for removing contact cement and is a lot less expensive than acetone, actually works better. It is available in both aerosal or squirt can. I prefer the squirt can, less waste, better control, and they haven't perfected the aerosal. I got a can of the aerosal a couple of years ago, and it ran out of propellent at half full. Any who it is available anywhere solvents are sold, usually somewhere near the adhesives. Also, lighter fluid works pretty well too.Dano
*Dano, tried Goof-off today to disolve contact cement, holy cow! Works much better than acetone. Thanks for the tip--Mike
*Mike,Your welcome. Good stuff, huh?Dano
