Scored BIG on a farm sale, securing a darn good shape Diston “Victory Saw” (WWII, steel medallion and screws, beautiful etching) for a mere ten bucks. Really. Would like to restore the saw a bit, then frame it and will it to my son.
Need recommendation for a premier sharpening service from the “pros from Dover” reading this blog. I’m not looking for a run-of-the-mill outfit; rather, one that would appreciate the opportunity to love working on a wonderful 82 YO tool.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts and feedback.

I have no personal experience with him, but this guy seems to be pretty knowledgeable. http://www.vintagesaws.com/ or https://www.instagram.com/vintagesaws/
