   Central MI is pretty large. I live just below Jackson, MI. Where are you located.

    I live up here by MtPleasant but still not all that far I suppose.

    I'm just looking to chat with fellow woodworkers in the michigan area and be able to see what you all know about carpentry/woodworking and what you all are working on in your shops.

   Hello Jim...I'm in Fenton, which is 20 miles south of Flint.  Not really central Michigan, but two of my kids went to Central Michigan Univ. a few years back.  Does that count?

   I cant begin to tell you all how impressed am with the ones that took a minute and responded to my post.  I think a chat room about woodworking with Michigan woodworkers would be a great idea but of course we wouldn't limit it to just Michiganders even though we are the freindlyest bunch in the entire world. The reason I say that is we live in a state thats permanatly waving hello so how much more friendlyer could a person have it. If any of you would like to drop me a line my E-mail address is [email protected] I look forward to hearing from all of you about either starting a chat group or talking woodworking or just saying hello.
